Let’s plan a private class or party!

Private calligraphy lessons can be booked for groups of three and less. Parties can be booked for groups of 4-12 people. There are four course options and each can be upgraded for more personalized content and experiences! All courses include a custom workbook, the tools you’ll need to successfully practice throughout the course and at home on your own, and hour and a half of expert instruction.

Faux Calligraphy

Learn the very basics of modern calligraphy lettering as we work through the formations of lowercase and uppercase letters and connecting letters to form words! Students will learn to use everyday tools that can be used on paper, mirrors, chalkboards and more! Included in the cost for each student is a pencil and two markers.

Brush Marker Lettering

Learn the basics of lettering as we work through basic brush strokes, lowercase and uppercase letters and the connection of letters to form words! Brush markers are excellent for envelope addressing and fun paper projects. Included in the cost for each participant is a Pentel Sign Pen and a Tombow Dual Brush Pen.

Pointed Pen

This course introduces students to the art of hand lettering using a classic dip pen and ink well. Students will learn basic strokes and letter formations. Included in the cost for each participant is an oblique dip-pen, and an inkwell with black ink.

Watercolor Lettering

This course introduces students to the art of lettering using a watercolor palette and brush. Students will learn basic strokes and letter formations. Included in the cost for each participant is a small palette, watercolor paints and two brushes.
