Fort Thomas Mess Hall Wedding

Fort Thomas Mess Hall Wedding in November

Lydia and Evan’s Fort Thomas Mess Hall Wedding in Fort Thomas, Kentucky was the epitome of a perfect Fall wedding.  From start to finish, their wedding was filled with the vibrant hues of Fall colors and the most beautiful handcrafted details.

The Bride and Groom had the Perfect Fall Wedding Day at the Fort Thomas Mess Hall in Northern Kentucky

Beautiful Fall Color Palette

The day was filled with sunshine and smiles which led to their beautiful first look and ceremony being held out in front of the reception hall.  Lydia’s dress was simply perfection with gorgeous draping and the addition of a delicate vail.  Her bridesmaids wore beautiful shades of fall colors ranging from burnt oranges and deep burgundys to subtle shades of brown.  Evan and his groomsmen wore classic black with a small touch of burgundy to tie it all together.

The Perfect Customizable Venue

The Fort Thomas Mess Hall was an incredible venue that left so much room for the bride and groom to personalize everything.  It essentially felt like a “blank space” venue–a large open room with plenty of space for guests to mix, mingle, and dance, while also not so large that every part of the room needed to be filled with rentals and decor.  The gorgeous brick building coordinated perfectly with the fall leaves outside and the pictures were absolute perfection.

Wedding Stationery Custom From Start to Finish

We continued to incorporate fall colors in Lydia and Evan’s custom wedding stationery.  Starting with an amazing watercolor venue illustration as an envelope liner, placed inside of a terracotta envelope all the way to subtle gold accents added by hand on each and every invitation.  I personally loved the incorporation of a beautiful antique gold mirror used as a seating chart and a trendy linen welcome sign that utilized the florals from their wedding invitations.

Hand Painted Champagne Bottle

The icing on the cake as far as contributions from ALittleAfterNine went, was the custom painted champagne bottle.  I loved being able to gift this to Lydia and Evan– a bottle hand painted with the florals and colors from their gorgeous wedding day to keep as a memory in their home.

For the Bride and Groom we painted a custom champagne bottle using their beautiful florals

Overall this November wedding capitalized on the natural beauty of fall in Kentucky and showcased our custom wedding stationery in the best way possible.  Cheers to your love story, Lydia and Evan!
